The biggest derby of Croatian domestic football

Goalless draw between Dinamo and Hajduk

On Sunday afternoon Dinamo played the important game versus arch-rivals from Split. In rainy conditions over 11 thousand spectators could've seen the dynamic game with ended in a goalless draw.

Dinamo opened the game highly motivated to prove all doubters wrong after series of bad results. That motivation combined with aggression functioned very well, as the home team created nine chances in the first half. Most of them were finished by captain Domagoj Antolić, who hit the woodwork in the 35th minute.

In the second half, once again Dinamo hit the woodwork, this time by Junior Fernandes. Hajduk also had two great chances to take a lead, first by Ohandza and then by Jefferson. At the last minute of stoppage time, Henriquez missed a sitter.

Now both teams have one week break due to international duties. As things stand right now, Dinamo is the third-placed team with 23 points, only six behind leaders Rijeka.
