The international break is over - and several Dinamo players were in action for their nations over the past fornight.

Josip Pivarić and Ante Ćorić

Croatia - Iceland 2-0

Northern Ireland - Croatia 0-3

Dinamo left back Josip Pivarić played the full 90 minutes in Croatia 2-0 victory over Iceland. That was an important win for Croatia as the National team moved to the top of the table with 10 points. 

Three days later Croatia played a friendly match in Belfast and for the first time in three years defeated Northern Ireland (3-0) on their home ground. Ante Ćorić played for the last 20 minutes, while Pivarić came in in the 87th minute. After international break, Pivarić played his 9th international cap, while Ćorić collected 3 caps. 

 

Ali Karimi

Papua New Guinea - Iran 1-8

Syria - Iran 0-0

For the first time in his career, Iranian defensive midfielder, 24-year-old Ali Karimi made a debut for Iran National team. On November 10, Iran destroyed Papua New Guinea by 8-1 in a friendly fixture. Several days later Iran played FIFA World Cup qualifying match versus Syria in Malysia (0-0), however Karimi watched the match form the bench.

 

 

Amer Gojak

BiH U21 - Montenegro 2-0

19-year-old Amer Gojak played the full match for Bosnia and Herzegovina under-21 side last week. In a 2-0 victory against Montenegro, Gojak made an asist for first goal of the match. On this level, Gojak played 9 times for his homeland..

Cyprus U19 - Croatia U19 0-4

Faroe Islands U19 - Croatia U19 0-5

Montenegro U19 - Croatia U19 1-2

Croatia U19 squad features seven Dinamo players in first qualifying round of European Championships which will be held nex summer in Georgia. In three matches, Dinamo players played an important roles in success of the youth National team results. Goalkeeper Adrian Šemper played in all three games, without conceeding a goal, captain Vinko Soldo scored two goals in three appearances, while Marko Gjira, Davor Lovren, Nikola Moro and dario Špikić all scored goals for Croatia. right back Matej Hudećek also participated in Croatia squad.
