A draw for the end of a successful season

Dinamo drew 0:0 with Split in the last round of the Croatian Championship. Both teams had some great chances, but Dinamo dominated and controlled the whole match. Split showed resistance and their defense was really on a high level. 

Coach Ante Čačić decided to start the match with the formation similar to the one against Osijek. Beqiraj played first striker, Leko was on the right side, Sammir in the middle and Ibanez was watching on the left side; Badelj and Calello were behind them.

Split had a good attempt in the 8th minute when Erceg ran along the right side and shot the ball in the left angle. Kelava made an excellent save, but the ball bounced back to Bagarić. Kelava defend a goal one more time! Dinamo showed more pressure, Split pulled back and tried to score from counter-attacks. Modri had a great chance in the 14th minute when Leko passed the ball to Sammir who sent the ball right to Zagorac.

Vida tried to score with his head and Badelj was in a great position to score, but Split's defense was a well-worked. Another danger situation for Dinamo came in the 45th minute when Bagarić shot the ball straight to Kelava. Thanks to his great defense, the result was in the half-time still 0:0. 

Even thoug Dinamo entered the second part with a greater desire to score, the weather was quite unpleasant and it was difficult to expect some crucial changes. Beqiraj tried to score in the 59th minute - he ran towards Zagorac and shot the ball next to the net. After Beqiraj slipped and fell, the referee didn't award a foul. 

Dinamo intensify the pressure and the next great situation came in the 70th minute. Split made a mistake in their defense, Kovačić passed towards Zagorac and shot, but the ball hit outside part of the net. In the 82nd minute, fireworks light up the sky and it was the beginning of the blue celebration. Till the end of the match, Dinamo was trying to score and win three points, but Split had a really organized defense. Badelj and Vrsaljko tried to score from a distance, but Zagorac was concentrated the whole time. 

A fantastic season and double crown for Dinamo! Besides that, Dinamo placed in the qualifications for the next season Champions League. It was really a dream season and we would like to thank all those who have supported Dinamo through this successful season!
