Dinamo defensive midfielder and Macedonian international Arijan Ademi has testified at the Court of Arbitration for Sport to fight his four-year ban for dopinig.
On Friday, Ademi appeared in person to appeal against UEFA, which judged it a serious first offense. A verdict is expected within 2-3 weeks.
Ademi tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol after Dinamo's 2-1 win over Arsenal in September 2015 in the Champions League. UEFA dismissed the player's evidence and called it "apsolutely invalid", thus suspending 25-year-old Ademi to 4-year global ban which is a precedent case in football doping.
