As many as 12 Dinamo players in national team actions

As many as twelve Dinamo football players will join their national teams this week in the upcoming qualifying matches for the World Cup in the A national team competition, U-21 and U-19 European Championships, as well as for the ongoing U-17 World Cup.

Arbër Hoxha, Scott McKenna, Ismaël Bennacer and Mounsef Bakrar are in the senior national team squad, in the U-21 competition Matteo Perez Vinlöf and Fran Topić will play, in the U-19 national team squad Noa Mikić, Marko Zebić, Tomas Baković, Karlo Zulfić and Anđelo Šutalo have been called up, while Leon Jakirović plays for the U-17 national team at the World Cup in Qatar.

The coach of the Croatian national under-21 team, Ivica Olić, has called up Topić for the matches against Lithuania on November 13 in Velika Gorica and Hungary on November 18 in Budapest in the European Championship qualifiers. Croatia opened this cycle with a draw in Turkey, 1:1, and in the second round, they won at home against Ukraine with a score of 1:0.

Jakirović is currently at the World Cup in Qatar where the Croatian U-17 national team has advanced from the group stage and secured a spot in the round of 16.

Mikić, Zebić, Baković, Zulfić and Šutalo have been called up to the U-19 national team for three European Championship qualifying matches. Siniša Oreščanin's team will play all matches at home - on November 12 they will host Georgia in Karlovac, and three days later they will play against Gibraltar at the same venue. The last match will be played in Zagreb on November 18 against Serbia. 

Defender McKenna is on the list of Scotland national team coach Steve Clarke for the World Cup qualification matches. Scotland will first play away in Greece on November 15, and then host Denmark three days later. After four rounds, Scotland has 10 points, the same as the first-placed Denmark. Greece is in third place with three points.

Albanian national team coach, Brazilian Sylvinho, has called up Hoxha for the matches against Andorra away on November 13 and England in Tirana on November 16 in the World Cup qualifiers. Albania is in second place in the group, having earned 11 points in six matches, seven points behind the leading England, who have a perfect record. Serbia is third, trailing Albania by one point.

Bennacer and Bakrar have been called up to the Algerian national team, which has already qualified for the World Cup, for two friendly matches. The team led by Vladimir Petković will play the first match on November 13 at home against Zimbabwe, and the second five days later away against Saudi Arabia. 

Perez Vinlöf is in the frame of the coach of the Swedish U-21 national team, Daniel Bäckström, for the matches in the European Championship qualifiers against North Macedonia away on November 13 and against Armenia, also away five days later. In the first four rounds played so far, Sweden has recorded three losses and one win.
