Assistant Project Manager in Marketing

GNK Dinamo is looking for an assistant project manager in marketing who will help develop Dinamo as a brand of the city of Zagreb and the whole of Croatia with their ideas and energy. We are looking for someone who understands fans, loves events, knows how to lead projects from idea to realization, and enjoys a dynamic sports environment.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Designing, proposing, and creating marketing and event projects aimed at promoting the Club, communicating with fans and target groups, promoting partners, and activities for "educating" future fans/customers.
  • Development, preparation, and operational management of approved marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Planning and organizing events in collaboration with schools, public institutions, partners, and the local community.
  • Planning and executing continuous event activities in and around the stadium, and outside match days.
  • Participation in the organization of domestic and UEFA matches (operational coordination, contractors, protocol, ceremonies, accompanying activities).
  • Participation in the organization of protocol events (commemorations, assemblies, formal receptions, celebrations, etc.).
  • Coordination and organization of Fan zones (preparation of documentation, coordination of partners and suppliers).
  • Other tasks related to the organization of matches and marketing activities of the Club, as instructed by the marketing director.

Ideal candidate

  • Has experience in leading marketing or event projects (experience in sports or entertainment industry is an advantage).
  • Excellent at time management, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and perform well under the pressure of deadlines and matches.
  • Has developed communication and presentation skills, enjoys working with people and external partners.
  • Creative and responsible in implementation, with a strong sense of brand, visual identity, and fan experience.
  • Advantage: experience in hospitality and working with business partners.
