Badelj: We'll have a great spring season

At the beginning of the preparations for the spring part of the season we talked to our vice-captain Milan Badelj who is very optimistic about the future.

Dinamo had a great 2011 - national championship and the Cup title once again landed in Maksimir and the team qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions league. Was there a wish to repeat it again next season on your wishlist for the 2012: - Definitely. I'm sure everyone would be very happy if we managed to do the same things in 2012. -

Let's go back a little and conclude the story about last year. It's no secret that Dinamo didn't play so well in December: - Everyone saw the way we played so we don't have anything to hide. Reason? I'm not sure but I think we should search it in the fact that we didn't have a real break from January - said Badelj and explained: - Our summer break lasts only a couple of days so we didn't have a real chance to rest. -

According to that, it's expected for the team to fall out of form after almost a year without a break: - Our form peak was in August when it was most important for us to play good. We were playing in Champions league qualifiers and we had to win to secure group stage. After that we began to fall, in every way, and Lyon was the final. What happened? I really don't know; it a game that happens once in a lifetime. -

A look in the future. Dinamo has a six point advantage in front of Hajduk: - I'm sure we'll defend the title. As a matter of fact, I'm sure we'll have a bigger advantage than we have now and we'll have a great spring season.  - Dinamo has a new coach: - So far I didn't have a chance to work with Mr Čačić but first impressions are great. I'm sure it will just go even better once we get to know him. -
