Ball possession: GNK Dinamo heads the rankings in Croatia

The CIES Football Observatory focuses on the percentage of ball possession since the start of the season for teams from 35 national competitions. GNK Dinamo is ranked 34th on the list with 59.7%. 

GNK Dinamo completed 468 passes per match, made 4.7 passes per possession phase with the average duration of a possession of 16 seconds. Thus, the Modri have highest ball possession in Croatian first division, while HNK Rijeka is 51st on the list with 57.8%. 

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) is an independent study centre located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It was created in 1995 as a joint venture between the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the University of Neuchâtel, the City and State of Neuchatel.
