Champions league: Dinamo draw Ludogorec Razgrad

In the Champions league 2. preliminary round Dinamo will play against Bulgarian champions and Cup winner Ludogorec Razgrad.

On Monday, 25.6., in Switzerland, Nyon Champions league preliminary round draw took place and it was decided that Dinamo will play against Ludogorec Razgrad. First leg which is scheduled for 17./18. July will be played in Bulgaria while the return leg will take place a week later in Maksimir.

After the draw, head coach Ante Čačić said: - Ludogorec is a team that deserves respect and our full attention. The club is in full expansion after getting a new owner, a lot of players came and the club won the double for the first time in their history in their first season among best Bulgarian clubs; surely that's something to admire.

Despite that, Dinamo is looking only for one thing: - As much as we were expecting an easier opponent, Ludogorec got the worst possible draw. We are Dinamo, a club that plays in Europe every season and we are concentrating only on winning and getting to the next round.

First leg is will be played in Bulgaria: - That's a good thing because it's better for us that the final decision will be made in Zagreb. Despite that, we'll look for the victory in the first leg too.
