Coach Mamić about a preseason

After preseason in La Manga Modri came back to Zagreb. The first official game in the second part of this season is scheduled for Wednesday, February 10, when Dinamo will face Inter Zaprešić in the Croatian cup quarterfinals.

- I am not fully satisfied with our preseason because we haven't achieved some of our goals such as standardizing the team. After the game with Shakhtar Schildenfeld got injured, while Eduardo played with a broken finger. Pivarić is recovering after a knee injury, Soudani didn't participate in the whole preseason, Brekalo has a broken bone in his foot. Taravel, Pjaca and Sigali were also out of the usual training process - said coach Mamić.

- Hopefully, all of them should return really soon and this situation was uncomfortable for the whole team. Of course, we should think about a positive side too. We have a lot of backup and we will be even stronger after their recovery. 

What about preseason games in Spain? - This is the first time didn't achieve remarkable results against our opponents, but this stage is something completely different than competitive matches. We will slow down a little bit with training sessions and that will be good for players. I believe they will become faster and their performance should be better.

Coach Mamić gave to nine young talented players the opportunity to travel on a preseason with the first team: - Of course it is not an easy task to work with a lot of players, but we wanted to do that because those young players are our future. They've proven they deserve to be with us, but we shouldn't put them under any kind of pressure. 

Coach Mamić commented the situation with young Ante Ćorić also: - Ante is physically stronger and he is a very important part of our team. He is young, playful and he is playing with freedom. Of course, there are some things he needs to improve such as his concentration and responsibility. 

What about potential new players? - We are scouting two players - Jose Angel Diaz from Porto and Nicolai Boilesen from Ajax because they would fit in our team and the main reason for that option are injured Pivarić and Musa.
