Coach Mamić about preseason

Before the first training session this year, head coach Zoran Mamić held a press conference: - We will stay till the end of this week in Zagreb. On Friday, January 15, we will travel to Rovinj and after that we will spend some time on a preseason in Spain. We will play one friendly game in Rovinj and four friendly matches in Spain - against Stromgodset, CSKA, Litex and Shakthar.

Coach Mamić invited 33-34 players and the biggest news is that nine young players (U-19) will also get a chance to join the first team during a preseason: - This is not a short term decision. This is our mission in order to develop our young talented players and to keep them in Dinamo. I've talked to their parents, they are informed about everything and I've explained to them that every young player will get a chance to play for the first team. We will try to coordinate UEFA Youth league, B team and first team and we will decide what is the best solution for every player. Of course, we shouldn't forget about their national team obligations.

What about this year's transfer window? - Pinto moved to Norwich City and I think we won't have other transfer during this period. Pamić and Andrijašević will stay on loan in Lokomotiva, while Cekici, Šunjić and Mikulić will also join them. Husejinović would like to play somewhere else, so we need to think about his case. I would like to congratulate to Andrijašević who has shown a great play in Lokomotiva during this season and I wish him to stay healthy.

-There won't be any spectacluar news during this transfer window and we will try to keep all our players in the team. Of course, I can't say anything about potential arrivals, we will see in time. We still haven't decided what to do about Ademi's position. It's not an easy task to replace him in our team.
