Comeback for an important win

Dinamo played a very good game and thanks to late first half goal from Taravel and Henriquez's strike in the second got back after being a goal down and took all three points from Koprivnica.

First games after national team break are always hard and so was this one but Modri showed great character to get back in the game and win the match. Dinamo was a better team from the start, Modri dominated and tried to play their game but Slaven wasn't playing defensively. Still, Dinamo had more chances but Pinto in the 7th minute and Henriquez ten minutes later had their attempts go over the goal.

Dinamo was pushing more and more and then – Slaven took the lead. In the 39th minute Križman made a great pass to Delić who ran behind our defensive line and placed the ball past Eduardo for the lead. Modri were eager to strike back fast and they did it before half time. In the 44th minute there was a big crowd in the box and in the end Taravel's overhead kick from close distance ended in the net.

In the second half – same story. Dinamo was better and once again it was Marko Rog who played a very good game so he was the creator of the leading goal. Pjaca and he did a lot of work but the most important job was made by Henriquez who received the ball in the box and scored from 12-13 metres. Modri tried to end the game with the third but Soudani missed a great chance in the 65th minute.

Modri had several nice chances to extend the lead but the result didn't change anymore and Dinamo took the points to Zagreb. Next game is on Tuesday, 24th of November, in the Champions league against Arsenal.
