Dinamo played a very good last preseason friendly game against Shakhtar but still suffered a 2:0 loss.

Given the play both teams showed the result could have been much better for Croatian champions but Shakhtar showed lethal touch in attack. In took them only 6 minutes when Croatia national team captain Srna made a cross from the right side and our national team and former Dinamo striker scored from 7-8 metres. Dinamo managed to get back together pretty soon and created chances.

After Pyatov made some nice saves in the 27th minute – 2:0. It was a nice attacking move by Shakhtar which was ended by Taison's fierce shot. Less than half hour of play has passed and despite the fact Dinamo and Shakhtar both had their chances the Ukrainian team had a two goal advantage.

At the start of the second half Modri pushed even harder and had five great chances in first 10-15 minutes. Fernandes, Antolić, Stojanović and Stojanović twice had their attempts saved or blocked by Shakhtar players. It looked like it was a sure bet that Dinamo will score, at least once, but despite the odds that didn't happen. Ukrainian giants managed to keep a clean sheet and won the game.

Dinamo is coming back home on Saturday and the season opener will be against Inter in the Cup quarterfinal next Wednesday.

Copied!
