Dinamo and Zrinjski draw in Mostar

In front of 8.000 spectators in Mostar, Dinamo and Zrinjski ended their game without a winner. Zrinjski came in front when Marin Aničić scored after 12 minutes but couple of minutes before halftime Ivan Krstanović equalized.

Dinamo opened their "post-Kovačić era"  in Mostar against Zrinjski who proved as a very good squad. Coach Jurčić decided to give attacking midfielder spot, Kovačić's place next to Sammir, to Zvonko Pamić.

As soon as the game started it was obvious that it's preseason and that Modri are in full "training mode". The players looked kind of slow, in every move Modri lacked one more second and similar expected preseason issues. Zrinjski used slow start to the game and got in front after just 12 minutes. Arežina crossed from the corner kick, the ball came to Aničić who escaped his marker and headed to ball to the net.

Zrinjski players tried to use Dinamo's slow start even more but Kelava made couple of nice saves and Pehar missed a great chance when his shot went beside the goal. After about half an hour Dinamo started to create chances so Ibanez and Brozović had their chances. When it looked like Zrinjski will go to halftime in front - Dinamo equalized.

Pamić put in a cross from the corner, Krstanović used Šimunić's header and scored from close distance. Dinamo opened second half with a great chance when Beqiraj rushed through the right side but Krstanović's shot wasn't accurate. After hour of play, coach decided to change the entire squad so Dinamo played in 4-2-3-1 formation with Ademi and Leko as defensive midfielders.

Youngster Marko Kolar certainly got the most of his 30 minutes on the pitch. Young striker escaped home defensive line in 76th minute and earned a free kick in a dangerous area; Brozović's shot ended in Vasilj's hands. Couple of minutes later, Kolar made another great run and tried his shot but Vasilj was once again at the right position.

This was the first out of three Dinamo's games in Hercegovina and the next one is on Saturday, in Široki Brijeg.
