Dinamo at "Atlantic Cup" in Portugal

Before the beginning of the second part of the season, Dinamo will go to Portugal where Modri will be one of the participants on an international tournament - "Atlantic Cup".

Despite spending several great pre-season years in Turkey, this year Dinamo will travel to Algarve in Portugal. Additional to great conditions offered to football clubs, one of the main reasons for going to the far west of Europe is an international tournament, "Atlantic Cup", which is being held from 27th of January till 8th of February in Algarve.

All the matches will be played on Estadio Algarve which was built for the Euro 2004. and has the capacity of little over 30.000 seats. Including Dinamo, there will be six teams in Portugal: Rapid Wien from Austria, Midtjylland and Odense from Denmark, Wisla Krakow from Poland and Helsingborg from Sweden.

Each team will play three matches and will get three points for victory and a point for a draw. After these three games two top placed teams will play in the final.

Dinamo will play against Odense (29.1.), Helsingborg (1.2.) and Rapid (5.2.). The final will be played on the 7th of February at 20 o'clock.

Modri return from Portugal on the 9th of February and the championship continues nine days later with an 18th round match against Slaven Belupo in Maksimir.
