Dinamo conquered Šibenik and won seventh consecutive title

Dinamo is the Croatian champion for the season 2011./2012.! With two goals from Sammir and one from Badelj Dinamo got the fully deserved victory in Šibenik which secured Modri the title! With five rounds yet to be played, Dinamo won seventh consecutive and all together fourteenth Croatian title!

From the first minute of the game in Šibenik Dinamo was the only team that played football. Modri dominated at Šubićevac, scored three nice goals and fully deserved the victory that secured them the title. Leko was the first player to test Slavica but his long shot attempt was saved. Fortunately, next chance brought the lead that made the road to the title much easier.

Sammir and Beqiraj won the ball, striker played a nice pass to the Brazilian whose fierce shot ended in the net; it was in the 15th minute of the game. Dinamo had initiative but Šibenik had a great chance after 32 minutes. Malčić rushed through the left side, made an excellent cross to Georgievski who reacted very poorly. When it looked like it's going to be half time - Šibenik got the red card. Captain Spahija was booked early in the game after a foul on Beqiraj and Dinamo striker was once again his target at the end of the first half. Referee didn't think for more than a second and he showed Spahija second yellow and way to the dressing room.

Dinamo started second half very decisevely and very soon got the second goal. Badelj made a nice run through Šibenik's defense but Slavica caught the ball and Sylvestr's header was saved too but third second half chance was the right one. Beqiraj did a lot of work before passing to the middle where Sylvestr jumped over the ball for captain Badelj who nicely placed in below the post. 2:0 after 53 minutes and with a man down - the game was basically over.

When it looked like everybody was waiting for the end of the game "the fans" threw some flares in the field so the referee took the players to the dressing rooms. After 10 minutes, the game continued and Šibenik had their final attempts of complicating the game but when Georgievski wasted his second chance of the game - all Šibenik hopes went to smoke.

In fact, it was Dinamo who scored another one. In first of 11 minutes of extra time, Vrsaljko made an excellent pass from the right side and found Sammir who shot to the bottom right corner.
