In the last match of this seasons' UEFA Champions League group stage, Dinamo travelled to Turin where Juventus won 2-0. 'Modri' played well, especially in defensive phase in the first 45 minutes, however in the second half Italian 'Old Lady' scored two goals and sealed the win. Goalscoerers were Gonzalo Higuain in the 52nd and Daniele Rugani in 73rd minute of the match.
Bulgarian tactician, 41-year-old Iyavlo Petev surprised many with featured squad. With an average squad of 23.90 years, Dinamo played with youngsters. Especially in the midfield, where Bojan Knežević, Nikola Moro and Amer Gojak are still teenagers. Ante Ćorić, accompanited with Hilal Soudani and Junior Fernandes on the wings, played as false nine.
At the end, whilst Juventus finished on the top of the group H with 14 points, Dinamo finished as the bottom team without points and goalless.
