Dinamo lost in Croatian 'Eternal derby' against arch rivals Hajduk Split. Final result, 0-2, doesn't show the real picture behind the defeat. The 'Plavi' were better team throughout the match, created dozen of chances, however finishing was poor. Soudani, Ćorić, Hodžić all had great chances, but Hajduk goalkeeper Dante Stipica played a key role in this match with numerous saves.
Hajduk took the lead after 29 minutes when Ante Erceg scored a goal. In the 90th minute Hajduk doubled the lead with a goal from Marko Futacs after a quick counter-attack.
With this defeat, first against Hajduk at Maksimir after nine years, Dinamo have slim chances of winning the league. Next match is scheduled for April 25, when Dinamo travels to Koprivnica and play versus Slaven Belupo.
