Dinamo's refreshed blue design, a new look for the upcoming season, we have already had the opportunity to see in five preparatory matches, the away jersey in silver "silver tone" variant players presented in two matches this July, and now, at the start of August in the very prelude to the season, we proudly reveal the long-awaited third combination.
Dinamo's footballers will step into the competitive year in this latest set, they will play in this "outfit" in Saturday's away match against Osijek at the start of the SuperSport HNL season.
The third kit is predominantly dark blue, and the uniqueness of this design is based on the strong symbolism associated with the city of Zagreb: the front of the shirt subtly features the outlines of the city's plan as a message of unity and loyalty between the club and its fans. Moreover, last year the club launched a series of events under the name "Dinamovo" which includes visiting various neighborhoods in Zagreb, socializing with fans in different parts of the city, and it is precisely in this "united Zagreb" spirit that the third kit is stylized for the new season.
The dark blue color at the bottom of the shirt gradually blends with hints of dark green as a symbolic palette emanating from Maksimir Park: the color scheme of park greenery and the lake in a darker shade represents the night view of the park with the appropriate name of the third jersey - "Maksimir Nocturne".
The impression is further enhanced by the contrasting tone of the collar in a pronounced white color, which in this context can also symbolize the light of stadium floodlights.
Dinamo introduced an extremely dark shade of blue back in the autumn of 1984. At that time, the primary kit was light blue with darker accents, alongside a dark blue with lighter elements. This design only lasted for a few months, and the club reintroduced it in the summer of 2007 when it was mainly used in European matches. The dark blue tones were in use for a full nine consecutive seasons, up to 2015/16, and they resurfaced again from the summer of 2019 until 2022.
