The defending champions, Dinamo, qualified for the final and will have the opportunity to win the tournament in Gabela once again. Modri were a better side than GOŠK and goals from Sylvestr and Alispahić took Dinamo to the final.

Coach Ante Čačić had some injury problems before the semifinal match in Gabela so there were some changes such as Jerko Leko on the right back but the formation, 4-2-3-1, stayed the same. In fact, it was Leko who together with Ivan Tomečak created most of the chances for Croatian champions.

Bad pitch in Gabela forced Dinamo to adapt because "normal" pass-play was almost impossible. It took Dinamo about ten minutes to get control of the game and then began the chances. If was Tomečak who made one for Sylvestr but the Slovakian striker was off target. As the game went on Dinamo pressed more and it was only a matter of time when will they take the lead.

The lead came in the 23rd minute. Tomečak made another nice run and a cross, Sylvestr came to the first post and a nice finish made it 1:0. Of course, Modri dominated the game and created several chances before half time but Schreng saved it all. On the other side, GOŠK based their play on counter attacks that all ended on Domagoj Vida who was, once again, excellent.

Immediately after the break GOŠK threatened Kelava after a set piece situation but our goalkeeper was concentrated. After ten minutes of play - Dinamo scored the second. Tonel's great header went beside the post but in the 55th minute Dinamo finally made it 2:0. Leko's cross found Alispahić in the middle who converted the ball to the net.

Dinamo was looking for the third one and had some nice chances but there were no more goals. Close to scoring came Krstanović with his two attempts but new goalkeeper, Soldo, also made a couple of nice saves. In that category certainly goes the one after Atta's shot, too.

Modri displayed another good game and secured a spot in the final where they'll play against Split who beat Lokomotiva.
