Dinamo won 2:1 against Lokomotiva

Dinamo enrolled 2:1 victory against Lokomotiva in the 9th round of 1. HNL. Fatos Beqiraj scored two goals and brought three new points to Dinamo. Lokomotiva showed a great desire to win and we could see a great game tonight.

Luis Ibanez, Domagoj Vida, Tonel, Sammir and young Mateo Kovačić started from the first minute. Ivan Tomečak played only thirty minutes; after a foul he had to leave the field due to the injury. Instead of Tomečak, Beqiraj got his chance. By the end of the match Jurčić decided to put Mario Šitum and Josip Šimunić in the game.

Both teams were motivated from the very beginning of the game. Dinamo dominated the first twenty minutes, but despite that Lokomotiva scored the first goal. After a good action, young Filip Škvorc came to the ball right in front of Kelava's goal and he sent it into the left upper corner. The result 1:0 didn't change until the Fatos Beqiraj entered the game.

After Ivan Tomečak got injured, coach Jurčić had to do the first substitution. Beqiraj entered the game and enrolled his first goal after only five minutes. After good passing of Dinamo's captain Milan Badelj, Beqiraj was in an ideal position in front of rivals goal. He sent the ball with his head into the net for 1-1.

Teams continue to fight in the second half of the match. Although Lokomotiva was trying to stop Jurčić's team, Dinamo led in the 50th minute. The scorer was again Beqiraj who got a great chance after a good action of two teammates. Rukavina sent the ball to Sammir who was in front of the goal, but Sammir passed the ball to Beqiraj. It was easy job for striker who surely placed the ball into the net for 2:1. 

Frano Mlinar got in the 55th minute a second yellow card and he was suspended. Lokomotiva played almost the whole second half with ten players, but the result didn't change. Dinamo won 2:1 and won three new points. The next exam for Dinamo is scheduled for Tuesday - Dinamo will play the Champions League match against Lyon in France.
