In front of more than 1.000 spectators Dinamo Zagreb didn't manage to defend the title on Memorial tournament Mladen Ramljak. Guests from Ukraine, Dynamo Kiev, had more luck and concentration during penalty shoot-out and won the ninth Mladen Ramljak.
Both teams entered the game very carefully but a mistake from Dinamo defense opened a great chance for Vitalyi Buialskyi but he didn't react so good. As the game went on, Dinamo was taking over control of the ball and deserved the lead. After couple of chances, it was Čabraja who scored a great header after a corner from Bajan. Dinamo tried to score once again but Tkachenko made a couple of great saves.
When everyone was expecting half time - 1:1. Buialskyi made a cross from the free kick and Bratkov's header equalised the result. Dynamo managed to score three minutes before the break and - three minutes after. It was Buialskyi's great run and shot that brought Dynamo the advantage. Home coach made a couple of changes and Dinamo soon got the equaliser. It was Čabraja again, this time after a run, who scored for Dinamo and made it 2:2.
Dinamo was once again the better side but Tkachenko and luck saved Dynamo from defeat so the game went to penalty shoot-out. From the first five attempts two players from both teams missed but then Shvydkyy scored and Mateo Kovačić missed for the guest celebration.
