Emotional gathering of Dinamo's veterans and our retired fans

Good afternoon with Dinamo veterans and fans in a romantic atmosphere "aromatized" with some gastronomic delicacies... In such a pleasant, inspiring, and emotional atmosphere, the gathering of Dinamo veterans and older Maksimir fans passed.

GNK Dinamo organized a special program in which our retired members and their grandchildren were the center of attention. There was a lot of symbolism in the background: Dinamo players-veterans and "fan-veterans", fans of older generations, gathered beneath the Maksimir west stand, our oldest stand which we could symbolically call "veteran" for this occasion as well.

Fans were personally greeted by Dinamo's president Zvonimir Boban, who shared memories of the rich history of the Zagreb club with a smile and visible emotion, gladly listened to personal experiences and anecdotes of our older fans. In a specially decorated space below the west stand of Maksimir, they socialized with Džemal Mustedanagić and Stjepan Deverić, our celebrated duo from the generation that won the title in 1982, as well as their famous successor Silvio Marić, who is currently the club's ambassador and shone in the nineties.

We sadly and nostalgically remembered our unforgettable Rudolf Belin, who unfortunately left us forever last Monday.
The gathering was an opportunity to evoke the most beautiful sequences of the club's history, during which the guests themselves pleasantly surprised us with their knowledge of Dinamo's glorious past, delighting us with numerous memorabilia, from philately to jerseys and various props, especially crafted scarves and flags from older times. Their personal stories, experiences from the stands, interesting details and events, memories of unforgettable matches enriched the "treasure trove" as well.
This emotional "journey through time", reminiscing about football romance and the spirit of old Zagreb, It is spiced up, of course, with numerous group photos and a suitable old Zagreb music background. In the meantime, we chatted about current topics, and as an indicator of further strengthening of our common spirit, our fans also provided strong support to the team, expressed strong faith in better games and results, and of course, successful continuation of the stadium construction project. And all of this with applause and a wish for many more shared moments.
