The champions played a great game and after "two zeros" and numerous missed chances, unfortunately for Zadar, it finally opened up. Dinamo got in front after only 2 minutes when Ivan Krstanović scored the opener and youngster Jozo Šimunović made it two before half time. Modri pressed and searched for more goals and certainly got them; actually, three in the last few minutes of the game when Josip Pivarić, Fatos Beqiraj and Arijan Ademi made it 5:0.

Dinamo entered the game against Zadar with numerous problems: injuries and suspensions made the defensive line very thin so Addy and Šimunović had their debuts. From the first second of the game Dinamo started very firmly and wanted to score so it took them less than 100 second to actually succeeded.

Vrsaljko made a cross from the right side and the ball came to Tomečak who found Krstanović in the box and it was 1:0. After 180 minutes of play Dinamo scored so the weight was lifted off the player's shoulders and Modri weren't planning to stop at one. Goalkeeper Gluić made a few saves before Modri scored the second one. Sammir made a cross from the corner, Šimunović jumped and headed the ball to the net in the 34th minute for his first senior goal; debut from a player's dreams.

In the second half the champions continued to dominate but Gluić made couple of nice saves before conceiving three goals in the last minutes of the game. As Zadar, they're only threat was the long distance shot from Ivančić but the away team didn't have a single shot on goal in the whole game; that says a lot.

In the 87th minute Modri extended their lead when Fatos Beqiraj scored his third league goal from close range. Three minutes later Josip Pivarić scored a beautiful goal from the edge of the box and Arijan Ademi was on the rebound after Sammir's shot in additional time to make it final 5:0.

Dinamo fully deserved the big win and got another three points to make another step towards the seventh consecutive title.

Copied!
