GNK Dinamo and NK Široki Brijeg signed a historical agreement

GNK Dinamo and NK Široki Brijeg sign today a contract which is a worth historic agreement that represents the institutional cooperation between the two clubs. 10-year contract was signed by Dinamo executive president Zdravko Mamić and president of NK Široki Brijeg steering comitee Zlatan Mijo Jelić.

The primary goal of this contract is the cooperation of football schools and the development of young players. GNK Dinamo will donate significant funds on an annual basis for improving the football school Široki Brijeg and the second goal is to create better working conditions in football school Široki.

President Jelić said a few words about the contract: - This is historic day for NK Široki Brijeg. Most talented children from Široki Brijeg will have opportunities to go in Zagreb and play for Dinamo. Best of them will have opportunity to build a career in Dinamo and other big European clubs. We are thankful because you chose us for this cooperation and because you didn't forget Dinamo's most loyal fans from Široki. Special thanks to Zdravko Mamić who showed his big heart with this idea. - 

Executive president Zdravko Mamić was very happy after the signing the contract: - We would like to thank the people in Široki Brijeg for everything they've done in the past. They participated in Crotian independence and they ensured that the Croatian people in BiH survived. This was the main motive for Dinamo and we will continue to work on connecting the Croatian people in Široki, Croatian sport in BiH and Dinamo. My late father told me: ''Son, don't forget your native country'', and I listened for his advice. -
