Both teams could have entered the pitch with an appropriate music theme playing at the stadium. Popular British band Wet Wet Wet would have been probably the best choice to describe the atmosphere surrounding the second league 12th round clash between NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac and GNK Dinamo II.

Wet pitch, heavy rain and puddles all over the field were a great setback to all the players and they had a hard time trying to control the ball. The game ended in a goalles draw.

- It was a tough game under the heavy rain and bad weather conditions. Both teams played very hard giving their best. It was very hard to score a goal on such a surface and heavy weather. I think both teams could be satisfied with the final result. Neither team haven't managed to create many chances. We're satisfied. It is very important there were no injuries - said Dinamo II defender Marko Stolnik who was named the player of the match by the journalists.

Next weekend Dinamo II will host league leaders, HNK Šibenik. Previously in the season, in their 2nd round tier in Šubićevac stadium, the hosts won by 2-0.

- There are no questions: our goal is to 'strike back' and grab three points. We have one week to prepare for the game. We all know Šibenik are in the good shape but we will end their winning streak - Stolnik added.

Nevertheless, Šibenik's streak ended this Sunday after 1-0 home defeat against HNK Cibalia. NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac were a tougher opponent then they were ealier in the season when Dinamo II won by 4-0.

Maksimir team coach Željko Sopić transferred Kobie Morris from the centre back to the far right side of the defensive line moving Ivan Boras forward to the right wing. They have loaned Domagoj Pavičić from Dinamo first team. Pavičić returned after long time injury and it was his very first game in the season.

Dinamo II had an effort in the 13th minute when Gojak crossed the ball from the left and Pavičić shot to the near post but home defenderes deflected the ball. Three minutes later it was Morris who assisted from the right, Badji controlled the ball with his chest and effectively dropped it for Pavičić who missed the target.

During the second half Gojak made a nice pass for Diop but his strong shot was deflected by the home goalkeeper Lovrić. Home players "made a little mess" in Dinamo II box but haven't managed to score.

Copied!
