Great display and big win before Champions league clash

Dinamo played a very good game and showed brilliant goalscoring skills for the 4:0 win against Lokomotiva before the big Champions league clash against Arsenal! Defending champions were a much better team and went to halftime with the lead thanks to a goal from Henriquez. In the second half Angelo added his second with his national teammate Fernandes scoring third and Sigali headed the forth one for the big win.

Modri opened a very interesting September with a city derby match against Lokomotive. After the national team break and with Champions league game right around the corner Modri took some time at the start of the game to "get the engine going". With captain Antolić and Machado in the midfield, with Pjaca and Fernandes as wingers and Rog as playmaker it took Modri 15-20 minute to put themselves in control of the game.

As the time was passing Dinamo was pushing more and more and in the 36th minute the champions took the lead. Pivarić made a nice run on the left side, his cross found Henriquez who headed the ball in the net for the well deserved lead. Modri could've extended the lead before half time but Fernandes missed his chance. Luckily, Angelo was concentrated 15 minutes later and Dinamo doubled the lead.

It was the replay of the first goal only this time Henriquez converted after a cross by Pivarić with his left leg; 2:0 in the 64th minute. Modri didn't stop there and seven minutes later it was 3:0 and game over. Junior Fernandes got the ball in the box and placed a very nice shoot to the bottom corner of the net. Lokosi were in "knockdown mode", it was only a question of how many goals will Modri score and they stopped at – four.

In the 74th minute Pinto made a cross from the right flank, Sigali jumped in the box and headed the ball for the final result.

Modri continued their winning streak and are expecting Arsenal on Wednesday with a lot of confidence.
