Historic day: GNK Dinamo Assembly unanimously adopted new Club Statute

Members of the GNK Dinamo Assembly unanimously adopted a new Statute of the club and thus laid the foundations for the first fully democratic elections in the club's history. Each seat in the Assembly will be elected by club members on the principle of "one member, one vote".

This is the most important decision from the session held on Tuesday in the ceremonial lodge of the Maksimir stadium. The Assembly was opened by the club's president, Velimir Zajec, with a welcoming speech, and the session was chaired by Dinamo's vice president, Frano Šušnjara. 53 out of a total of 60 members of the Assembly were present.

At the beginning of the session, representatives recalled the recent 30th anniversary of the Military Police Operation "Storm" and held a minute of silence in honor of the fallen Croatian defenders.

The CEO, Zvonimir Boban, informed the assembly members about the club's activities and updates regarding the construction of the stadium and the club's training camp. He reminded them of the positive and productive meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, and thanked the Mayor of Zagreb, Tomislav Tomašević, for his engagement.

The Executive Board member, Zvonimir Manenica, presented in detail the financial situation of the club at the meeting. The most important agenda item was the election of the Statute. The proposal for the new club act was drafted by the Executive Committee and then sent for public discussion. The club adopted 25 percent of the amendments and incorporated them into the final version which was confirmed by the Assembly at the meeting on Tuesday. Tomislav Globan, a member of the Executive Committee, presented the most important points related to the new Statute to the representatives, and immediately after the voting, the club's vice president, Frano Šušnjara, proudly stated at the podium:

- With great pleasure and full of emotions, I can say that the Assembly has made a unanimous decision - the Statute of GNK Dinamo is adopted!

The President of the Executive Board, Zvonimir Boban, also emphasized with visible emotion:

- This is Dinamo's "D day", the new Statute of GNK Dinamo is not just a club act but also an act of social responsibility and social awareness.

Members of the Assembly soon thereafter unanimously adopted a new regulation on elections in GNK Dinamo.

A member of the club's Supervisory Board and manager of the "No Surrender" Foundation, Saša Pavličić-Bekić, congratulated the assembly members on the adoption of the new Statute, and then, in accordance with the agenda of the Assembly, informed the representatives about the foundation's activities and announced new humanitarian actions and assistance based on social solidarity.
