Dinamo opened the second part of the season in a winning mood. Modri defeated Slaven Belupo from Koprivnica 1-0, with Armin Hodžić scoring a winning goal from a penalty spot in the 41st minute of the match.

Besides that key moment, Dinamo dominated throughout the match, with ball possession and numerous created chances. Club captain Domagoj Antolić played an important part in a narrow win, dictating tempo and showing courage at the times. Centre-back Marko Lešković made a debut for a first team in an official match, while Leonardo Sigali got injured at the very end of the match and might be sidelined for a long period.
