Unfortunately, football was once again on the margins because of hooligans. Group of "fans" that came from Croatia ran in to the pitch and insulted Dinamo officials in the first half only to make even bigger mess in the second half. There was a fight on the stands that spread to the club offices and than the referee ended the game.

Hooligans torture of Dinamo continued in Austria where a friendly match Dinamo - Neftchi was canceled after 60 minutes; as football is concerned, Neftchi was leading at the time. Coach Ante Čačić decided to play the final preseason game in attacking style so Badelj, Kovačić and Sammir in front of them were in the midfield.

After just seven minutes of play and just about the time the players warmed-up - hooligans suspended the game for around 5 minutes. Several of them were on the pitch, insulting and throwing beer cans on Dinamo officials. Unfortunately, a lot of normal spectators that came there to watch the game decided to leave right after that.

When the game continued, it was Dinamo who had more of play and created couple of chances; the best of them came in the 22nd minute when Ibanez's cross found Vida but his great run didn't end with a good header so the ball went beside the post. After that the game entered into a period in which Neftchi had their chances and eventually got the lead.

Goalkeeper Kelava made a couple of great saves to keep Neftchi from taking the lead but even our excellent goalkeeper was helpless in the 28th minute. It was a nice play from Neftchi after which Mehtiyev was left alone on the right side and his fierce shot ended in the bottom corner. Till the halftime Dinamo tried to create something in front of Stamenković's goal but Neftchi defended well.

At the beginning of the second half, Dinamo made three subs so Čop, Alispahić and Tomečak entered the game and immediately created several chances. Just about the time when Dinamo was pressing more and more - game was suspended for the last time. Hooligans first started fighting on the stands but very soon the same picture was bellow, in the club offices, so the referee signaled the end of the match.

The referee warned in the first half that this could happen if things once again got out of hands and when they did - he sent the players to the dressing rooms.

Copied!
