- Congratulations to Split for this win. They were motivated more than we were and they've shown a good performance. We had few chances in the beginning, but after that we couldn't deal with their aggressive play. They were good in duels and passes and we've failed - explained Zoran Mamić at the press conference after the match.

- This defeat is not the same as negative results in the match against Rijeka and Olympiacos because we deserved this tonight. We didn't have luck in those two matches and in this game against Split our performance wasn't on a high level. This is football and we have to move on despite this bad result - said coach adding: - We still have time to fix everything and get back to the top. I believe in our quality, but this situation is also part of football. There is still a lot of time and a lot of points we can win.

What about Fernandes and Ćorić who didn't got their place in the first 11: - Fernandes played lots of games in the last period and he got and he got a hand injury in the match against Rijeka so we decided to give him some time to rest. However, he entered the game after Soudani got injured. Ćorić should have a place in the first eleven, but he got a kick in the back on the last night's training session and he wasn't ready for this match.
