Dinamo got a big 7:1 victory in Zlatar against lower division NK Oštrc and qualified for the next round. Modri dominated the whole game and despite home side taking 1:1 to halftime Dinamo scored six goals in the second half for the win.
As usual at the start of Cup competition, Modri came to Zlatar with couple of debutants and the team that never played together. From the start of the game Modri were the dominant side and after couple of nice chances took the lead in the 26th minute after Cekici was brought down in the box and Machado scored from the penalty spot. Dinamo continued to push forward but Bobek made several nice saves to keep the ball away from the net.
Like that wasn't enough Oštrc got the equaliser in the 44th minute when Trčak scored a header after a corner kick. Of course, it was obvious that Oštrc couldn't hold on to that result and after three minutes of play in the second half Morris scored after a corner kick to make his debut even more memorable.
That goal was only a trigger and in the next 20 minutes Modri scored four more goals. First Cekici made it 3:1 after a nice pass by captain Ćorić and two minutes later, in the 57th minute, Hodžić header after Musa's cross made it 4:1. In the 63rd minute Olmo was well placed in the box to make it five and Cekici scored his second in the 68th minute. Final goal of the day was scored by Matel nine minutes from time to make in 7:1.
The game was played in front of 2000 spectators and in a great atmosphere so it was the day Zlatar will not forget for a long time. Modri play their next game on Friday when Osijek is coming to Maksimir.
