Jerko Leko signs a two year contract

GNK Dinamo and Jerko Leko decided to continue together so our experienced defensive midfielder signed a new, two year contract.

Couple of hours before official start of preseason, Jerko Leko came to the club and easily agreed on the terms of the new contract. His contract was about to expire in summer 2013. so he signed a new one, lasting until January 2015.

- We are happy that we signed a new contract with Jerko who is an experienced player who is very important to our young team - said sporting director Zoran Mamić.

Jerko was also in a good mood after signing the extension: - Of course I'm thrilled. Dinamo is my club, I've started my career here and I would also like to finish it at the same place. I will be almost 35 when this contract expires but if I'll feel as good as today there is no reason no to continue playing. I have a lot of motive, enjoy training so I'm sure I have a lot to offer to Dinamo - concluded Leko.
