New forces

Juan Cordoba is the new player of Dinamo

Talented Colombian winger, 21-year-old Juan Cordoba, is the new player for Dinamo, and with his arrival, he will further strengthen the team's offensive arsenal.

Cordoba primarily plays as a right winger, excelling in skilled dribbling and penetrations, powerful left-footed shots, and when needed, he can also cover the role on the opposite, left side of the attack.

He is the first Colombian, and the 25th South American footballer to play in an official match for the club from Maksimir. In Dinamo, he has chosen to wear the number 19 jersey.

He was born on July 11, 2003, in Medellin, and he went through the Deportivo school in Cali, the club from which he comes to Zagreb. He took his first steps in senior football at Fortaleza in the capital city of Bogota, where he spent the second half of 2022 on loan.

Since last year, he has been in the circle of the first team of Deportivo, for which he has played a total of 45 official matches with seven goals scored.

In October 2022, he played with the young Colombian national team at the South American Games, where they won bronze, and Cordoba was the scorer of the goal in the match for third place in which they defeated Uruguay 2-1.

- I am very happy to have signed a contract with Dinamo. I believe that this club is great for the beginning of my European football career, I am aware of how dominant it is in the domestic league and how it has stood out and positioned itself on the European football map. Dinamo is known in South America as well, many young players from my continent have made a breakthrough and played football at a serious level by achieving a transfer to the Croatian champions. I thank the club for their trust and I can't wait to put on the blue jersey and help the team achieve all the set goals, Juan said after signing the contract with the blues.

Dear Juan, welcome to Dinamo!
