In the last match of the 30. league round Dinamo came to Kantrida to play a derby match against Rijeka and in front of 8.500 spectators it ended with a goalless draw.

Dinamo's schedule for the last four rounds of the MAXtv Prva liga gave the champions matches against teams fighting for places that lead to the Europa league next season. In the first of those four, Dinamo came to Kantrida as the defending champions but searching for the victory. It was clear the minute Modri started the match that Dinamo wants the victory.

In the first 20 minutes of the match spectators could've really enjoy the game. High rhythm and chances that were exchanging each minute gave the fans a lot to cheer about. Sammir and especially Husejinović played a very good match in the middle and were creators of Dinamo's chances. On the other side, Rijeka decided more on long shots but Kelava was great and he saved attempts from Brezovec while the one from Alispahić ended over the goal.

After 13th minutes of play Modri had a "as good as it gets" chance to score. It was Husejinović who made most of the work on the left side before finding Sammir on 12-13 metres but his shot was saved by Mance. It later proved to be the best chance of the game and the one that could've point the whole match in the champions direction.

As the time went on Rijeka, on the other hand, focused their play on counter attacks and set pieces situations. In fact, home team managed to score after Alispahić put in a cross and Benko headed the ball to the net but it was ruled out because of on offside position.

In the second half Rijeka defended well and Modri dominated the game. Of course, it was hard to find a way through so there were few chances in the second 45 minutes of the match. Coach Jurčić tried with attacking substitutions so Ibanez and later Beqiraj entered the game but Rijeka's defensive line played a good game.

All in all, it was a really nice day for football in Rijeka where more than 8.000 people made a great atmosphere and the players didn't disappoint.
