Kovačić and Pokrivač: We can be satisfied
Dinamo players were satisfied after the game and the victory in the friendly match in Šmarje.
Great debut
- What can I say? I'm really happy for scoring and making an assist for the first goal; really a dream debut. Of course, this is preseason so this doesn't mean much but I'm sure I will be only better.
One of the best Dinamo players in Slovenia was Mateo Kovačić: - I am happy with my performance but it's obvious that we are still far away from top form. After all, this game wasn't played because of the final result but it's better to win anyway. Given the circumstances and the fact that we are in full preseason training - it was good.
Nikola Pokrivač changed couple of positions during the game and played very good in each of them: - Coach was missing some players so I had to play at centre back in the first half before coming to my natural position at defensive midfielder in the second half. We are all tired from preparations and if we take that into account - we can be satisfied. This was a good way to start the season and a sign that we are working well.
