Leko receives call-up instead of injured Vrsaljko

After Šime Vrsaljko suffered an injury in the game against Zagreb national coach Slaven Bilić other Dinamo Zagreb player, Jerko Leko, received a call-up.

An injury at the game against Zagreb removed Šime Vrsaljko from the national side squad. The player who received the call from national coach is Jerko Leko. Great displays from our defensive midfielder earned him a place in the national side after two years of playing only club football.

- I've spent a year in Turkey, know their players, mentality so as the strengths and weaknesses too. Off course, I think my experience can be useful for coach Bilić and I believe that we can qualify for the European championship. -

Leko already joined the national side where already are three Dinamo players: Ivan Kelava, Domagoj Vida and Josip Šimunić.
