Mamić: Šimunić is coming, Sammir and Badelj are staying

Executive president Zdravko Mamić had a press conference on which he discussed about great moments Dinamo is experiencing.

Two days ago Dinamo qualified for the UEFA Champions league group stage and today - more good news from Maksimir. Dinamo signed a new player Dino Špehar and executive president announced that Joe Šimunić is close to signing a contract with the Croatian champions.

- Joe Šimunić will be a Dinamo player.  Even though Hajduk president Maleš was in Berling and had a talk with him - Šimunić told Zoran Mamić, our sporting director,  he will surely come to Dinamo - said Mamić and added: - We don't have to explain ourselves to anyone but I would like to point out that we've made an agreement with Šimunić a long time ago but it was on hold because Hoffenheim wasn't interested. Now when that has changed - we've completed the deal. -

Clubs executive president couldn't mention teams great success: - Entering the Champions league is a brilliant success; for everyone in the club. From the chef in our kitchen, all the people that work on the stadium, all employees, the Board and off course coaching staff and the players; we've all earned this and we are proud. -

Mamić had more good news for the fans: - Nor Sammir or Badelj will leave Dinamo; they will play in the Champions league with Dinamo. -

Will there be any more signings: - I don't think so. We've bought four players in pre-season and now another three. Off course, we are constantly looking and we would like to find another offensive left-footed midfielder but I doubt that anything will come up in this transfer period - concluded Mamić.
