Mature display for a convincing 3:0 win against Slaven

Dinamo played a very good match against Slaven Belupo, completely dominated the entire game and fully deserved 3:0 victory. Modri went in front after a free kick goal from Sammir in the 39th minute of the game and early on in the second half Arijan Ademi made it 2:0. Finally, it was Josip Pivarić who scored the additional time goal for 3:0 and another three points.

Defending champions started the game very good, pushed Slaven deep in their own half and totally dominated the play. Away team focused only on defense and failed to make a serious threat to Kelava for the entire game. As for Dinamo is concerned, Modri had a real nice chance after 7 minutes when Čop's strike went over the goal. Couple of minutes later Halilović and Sammir made a brilliant move only for Čop to shoot from the edge of the box but Rodić and the post saved Slaven.

The lead "was in the air" for a long time before Modri eventually got it. In the 39th minute of the game Sammir made a cross from a set piece situation on the left side, the ball went through the box without anybody touching it and ended in the net. After only couple of minutes of play in the second half it was "game over" for Slaven.

Halilović made a nice pass for Ademi who was alone in front of Rodić and chipped the ball over him for the second goal; excellent finishing from our midfielder. Modri didn't stop after two goal lead and created several good chances to extend the lead. It was Beqiraj who earned himself couple of opportunities to score but it wasn't his night. Rodić made some nice saves and him attempt in the 67th minute ended beside the post.

Finally, the well deserved third goal came in additional time when Pivarić scored after a nice move by Husejinović and Beqiraj.

Modri got another convincing victory, confirmed the big one from Poljud and will go in the final 11 rounds with the 11 points.
