After winning 2:1 over Slaven Belupo in the Croatian cup final, Modri defended the Double! Thanks to the first half penalty from Marko Pjaca and the long distance winner from Marko Rog Zoran Mamić's team won both Croatian championship and Croatian cup this season.
in usual 4-2-3-1 formation with Antolić and Machado in the midfield and Ćorić in front of them Dinamo dominated the field. After several chances the champions took the lead after half an hour of play. Soudani made a nice run, Edson tackled him in the box and Pjaca scored from the penalty spot for the lead.
Dinamo controlled the game but at the start of the second half Slaven scored the equalizer after a nice counter attack team move. In the end it was Delić who put in a cross for Ejupi who placed the ball in the net from 7-8 metres. Modri continued to push forward and it paid off when Marko Rog places a long shot that ended in the net! It was in the 77th minute and Modri managed to hold on to that lead until the end.
This is Dinamo's tenth double since Croatian independence. Modri once again proved that they are the best team in Croatia.
