Modrić's brilliant goal for a 1:0 win

Croatia national team opened UEFA EURO 2016 in the best possible way - with a 1:0 win over Turkey. The scorer of the brilliant goal was Luka Modrić in the 41st minute.

Ante Čačić's team had a lot of chances and attempts, players hit the woodwork three times and this win is absolutely deserved.

Four Dinamo players were in the squad for the game against Turkey. Schildenfeld and Pjaca entered the game in the additional time, while Rog and Ćorić watched the match from the substitute bench.

Croatia will face Czech republic in Saint Etienne on Friday, June 17 (18h).
