Petev: It’s a pity, but that’s football

Ivaylo Petev, Dinamo Zagreb coach: “We played well first half, not so well in the second, but we all know how strong Juventus are. We were close to scoring from our chances but we conceded on the other side after some big mistakes. It’s a pity, but that’s football. We were playing with a lot of young players and I am proud of them. I am sure they will play in top European football in the future.”

Nikola Moro, Dinamo Zagreb midfielder, and UEFA Champions League debutant: "It was a wonderful experience for me, to make a debut in such a stadium against such a top team, it’s really something special. We were holding them to a draw in the first half, then we conceded after one mistake and we lost our chance. We played against a top side, Juve is really big and we gave our best…"

Josip Pivarić, Dinamo Zagreb captain: "We could have finished some chances here in a better way, but Juventus showed how good they are in the second half. They found just a little bit of space, and they used it well and scored two goals."
