Players are aware of how powerful are they

Head coach Zoran Mamić was happy and satisfied after the great win against Arsenal: - Of course I am delighted – we have beaten Arsenal in our opening match. We have won a Champions league game after a long time. I would like to thank my players, fans and all people who helped in preparing this match. I am happy and proud.

- Players achieved everything we've planned and everything we've been working on a training session. I am glad they believed in themselves, they became aware of their strength and of that how powerful are they. Support from stands helped them a lot and the night was great. 

- We don't need to make an euphoria because this is just a first game. We want to go match by match and we won't predict anything. You were all surprised when I said this team is probably the best in the last 10 years - they've shown I was right.

What happened during the half-time break? - We didn't want to be euphoric and we were trying to stay calm. I wanted players to continue with their play from the first half and we didn't want to change our style. I can't say anything about the red card now. The referee made a decision and I don't want to talk about that part of the game. I am sure the second yellow card was deserved, but I think the first one was because of objections to a referee. In the end - the referee is the only person who decides.

- I think we are full of confidence now and we are ready for the match in Split. We know the Poljud stadium will be full and Hajduk will be really motivated. This match was a great preparation. We won against Arsenal on the Champions league opening...
