GNK Dinamo continued its new educational and entertaining project "From a young age for the blue club" with a second school event, which this time was held at the Većeslav Holjevac Elementary School in Siget. The program, intended for lower grade students, once again filled the school gym with laughter, joy, and sportsmanship, and the little ones followed all the prepared activities with great interest.
After a successful first edition in Oš Prečko, Dinamo's team and program leader Luka Bulić also arrived in Siget, where several dozen children from first to third grade participated in a rich program. Bulić once again won over the audience with his distinctive humor, musical wit, and relaxed approach, turning the school gym into a fun and educational gathering place.
Through interactive games, conversations, and simple exercises, children learned about the importance of healthy eating, physical activity, and sports habits, which are the foundation of successful and active growing up. Students were interestingly explained what the daily life of a professional athlete looks like, why it is important to take care of the body, and how even small steps - like regular walks or playing in the schoolyard - contribute to health.
"We really like it, we are very glad that you came, you have "killed" our routine a bit and brightened our day. The children didn't know what to expect, they only knew that GNK Dinamo was coming today and that they had to learn to sing "Košulju plavu". They have been practicing this song in music class for the last two weeks," proudly says teacher Irena Volf from OŠ Većeslav Holjevac.
One of the favorite parts of the program was creating a new fan song dedicated to Dinamo. With the help of the instructor, the students came up with original verses full of childlike enthusiasm and love for the blue color. The song was created in just a few minutes, and you could feel in the hall how proud the young authors were of their work.
The arrival of the club mascot Plavko caused a big surprise at this school, immediately becoming the main star of the event. The children welcomed him with applause and loud cheering, and Plavko patiently posed for photos, gave hugs, and encouraged students to participate in the program. His arrival brought an extra dose of joy and created moments that the children will remember for a long time.
The news that all lower grade students, accompanied by an adult, will receive a free ticket for one SSHNL match during the current season especially delighted the children. This gesture has sparked great enthusiasm and further deepened the bond between the club and its young fans.
"This was very nice, especially emotional for me as I am personally a big fan of Dinamo. Everything was impeccably organized, the children had a great time, and we are very satisfied with this event. We told the children to come in blue shirts, in blue jerseys. We are a neighborhood in Novi Zagreb where, I would say, about 95% of children and families support Dinamo. We are all imbued with the color blue!", said the principal of Oš Većeslav Holjevac, Slaven Staklenac.
At the end of the event, the students were given gift packages from GNK Dinamo, while the project partner Perutnina Ptuj further rewarded the children with appropriate gifts. The excitement on the faces of the youngest was the best proof of the project's success and confirmation that "From a young age for the blue club" opens new doors for connecting the club and schools.
This is the second edition out of a total of 20 planned events that Dinamo will hold in various schools in Zagreb. The project's goal is to promote healthy lifestyle habits among children, introduce them to sports values, and provide them with an experience to remember. Dinamo continues with joy to visit schools and bring joy, unity, and the blue energy among the youngest fans.
