Qingdao Jonoon FC Youth academy director visited Dinamo

Recently our club was visited by Aleksandar Borojevic, the coaching director of Qingdao Jonoon FC Youth teams. Qingdao Jonoon FC is a club where five Croatian coaches work in youth setup and the club is oriented on player development. Thus, when a club wants to emphasize on player development, GNK Dinamo Zagreb is a reference point in a football world. 

"We talked with GNK Dinamo Director of Football, dr. Romeo Jozak on several types of cooperation, whether it's coaching staff education, GNK Dinamo trip to PR China", said Mr. Borojevic. 

This Chinese club is based in Qingdao, Shandong, which is geographically between Beijing and Shanghai. The city's population is around eight million people and is 52nd biggest in PR China.  

"Another club in our city, our rival, is an FC Barcelona feeder club. We want GNK Dinamo to visit us in PR China, to see our resources, training and corporate facilities. Cooperation with GNK Dinamo? As I said, coaching education, transfer of knowledge, and in accordance with Chinese mentality and circumstances, trying to establish the football methodology. Of course, that's not easy and such process takes time. I hope we could learn a lot and profit from our future cooperation", added Mr. Borojevic.

Chinese ambitions in world football are always huge, as in the future they want to organize FIFA World Cup. "In age category 6-12 years, there is over 200 million boys and girls in PR China. Resources and competition are fierce, as such clubs as Real Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea are present on Chinese soil. Last year five Croatian teams visited PR China and perception is very positive about Croatian football. Of course, it's hard to compete with bigger clubs from Western Europe according to a market segment, however, in several details, GNK Dinamo possesses immense quality. My boss, the club owner is football fanatic and is excited with the prospect of cooperation with Dinamo," finished Mr. Borojevic, and thanking Ivan Kepcija, Assistant Academy Director of GNK Dinamo youth academy.
