Regular annual meeting of GNK Dinamo commissioners held

Visible satisfaction with a significant increase in the number of members, emphasized unity in all parts of the blue family, support for the team, and exchange of opinions and ideas in an interesting and constructive discussion... In such an atmosphere, the regular meeting of Dinamo's commissioners took place in the lodge of the Maksimir stadium. The meeting was attended on behalf of the club by the president Zvonimir Boban, honorary president Velimir Zajec, member of the Management Board Hrvoje Puhalo, and the head of the Membership Department, Krešimir Knezović. Along with the commissioners, there were also assistants in the Membership Department - Ljubica Matanović and Sara Tipura.

- Welcome to your and our club, to Dinamo for which you work with so many ideals, love, and struggle, but also everything that love for the club brings with it, sometimes even unrest and sleepless nights - emphasized President Boban in his address to the commissioners.

- It is not just a question of sport, but also a question of what we are by birth, what we are as Croats, what Dinamo represents for us in that sense. We know that the Dinamo issue is also historical and social. You carry Dinamo as a great responsibility and you are doing a great job. The membership office led by Krešo Knezović is doing a great job, and we know that it is not easy for you who are 'on the field'. Well, my father was a Dinamo commissioner and I fully understand that your sacrifice is not easy. We hope to reach that magical number of members, that 'hundred'. I think people have recognized our good path, I hope the results will follow. It could have been better as you know yourself, there were mistakes, but we are correcting them. We hope to achieve continuity both in European and Croatian terms. Maybe it was too good at the beginning, now we are returning to a logical path of maturation. This is a good team, but we need to build continuity. The boys became 'one being in one spirit' even after their visit to Velika Gorica. Regardless of the conditions in which we exist, we are only interested in the green field. That's what we live for, it's our responsibility, both mine personally and the players'. It is up to us to give you everything that Dinamo's fans and commissioners deserve, and that is the real, great Dinamo. Thank you very much. We wish you all the best for Christmas, for the birth of Christ, for the holy Croatian Christmas. May God grant you all the best in blue - President Boban emphasized emotionally.

The honorary president Velimir Zajec also briefly addressed the commissioners.

– You are our foundation, I know how strong a role fans play and how much they help in creating unity. All of you who carry our fans can also help more, and we, in turn, strive to make the team as good as possible. I believe we are still the strongest and that we will ultimately be the first.

Board member, Hrvoje Puhalo, reported on numerous details from the marketing segment.

- Thank you for coming, I can say that this year has been challenging and interesting for us. There has been a lot of joy and laughter, but also some disappointments, but that is part of the job, life, football... It is up to us to do everything we can to make things better for our members. We have surpassed the number of 65,000 members, and our long-term goal is to reach 100,000, those who truly love Dinamo, who wake up and go to bed with Dinamo. We are proud of you, you have done a lot. This year, I remind you, we also opened the institution of the 'club friend', our membership is growing abroad where the number has increased two and a half times. Thank you all for your efforts, we see great progress. Our wish is to cover all parts of Croatia with membership, we are opening a lot of fan zones, there is also our 'dLand' as a playroom and fan shop in one. Our focus is also on young members, on children, we want them to spend less time in front of screens, and more time with Dinamo, we want to promote a healthy lifestyle and sport.

On this occasion, the hosts thanked and rewarded the three best commissioners with symbolic gifts. The list of laureates includes Zlatko Premuš, the commissioner with the largest number of members, 1315 of them, then Ante Biško with 960, and Damir Žigrović with 921.
