Second half goals from Ante Puljić and Duje Čop brought Dinamo the victory in Zaprešić where Modri made a great intro to the Champions league match against PSG on Wednesday. Even though he didn't get to the scoreboard, man of the match was Sammir who entered the game in the last 30 minutes and gave Dinamo new win.

As usual, games after national team break are always very tricky and so was the one in Zaprešić. Dinamo started the game very offensively and took control from the first whistle but Inter defended well and managed to keep a clean sheet for an hour. Of course, a lot of attacks and chances that Dinamo created had to eventually give something; sooner or later.

Home team coach Perković decided to put a lot of players in the midfield and managed to create two defensive lines within 30 metres of Santini. Naturally, it was tough to break through but Modri had several chances coming from the flanks. Pivarić and Čop on the left side and Vrsaljko and Ibanez on the right made nice runs and tried to find teammates in the middle but Inter's defense always managed to block the attempt.

Ademi, Krstanović, Ibanez and Čop all had their chances but when they managed to place a shot, like Čop in the 23rd minute or Krstanović couple of minutes later Santini saved everything.

It was obvious that Dinamo was much better but coach Čačić realized that he had to make some changes so Alispahić and soon after him Sammir entered the pitch. In his first real attempt the new Croatia national team player gave Dinamo the lead. Sammir got the ball on the left side, put in a great cross and Puljić headed his first Dinamo goal; it was in the 61st minute.

Dinamo didn't stop after taking the lead and they searched for the second goal to solve the game. Almost all the actions came over Sammir who was unstoppable. First he made an excellent pass for Čop but his one on one situation was saved by Santini and then Krstanović had his chance, fell in the box but the referee didn't point to the spot. It was obvious that the second goal is imminent and in finally came in the 82nd minute of the game.

Sammir made a brilliant pass over Inter's defensive line for Ibanez who simply stopped the ball for Čop and our striker placed a nice volley shot to the bottom corner of the net. Modri has several great chances to make it three but very bad pitch and excellent Santini saved Inter from a bigger defeat.

Dinamo got the fully deserved victory and is now waiting for Wednesday and the match against PSG. See you at Maksimir!
