Young goalkeeper Adrian Šemper signed a professional contract with Dinamo! 18-year-old player is one of the most talented goalkeepers in Europe and he is currently on a preseason with the first team.
- I am thrilled and I don't know what to say... I am here since I was just a kid, I watched famous Dinamo goalkeepers live and my wish has always been to become one of them someday. Of course, I need to work a lot in order to achieve my biggest goal and to become a first team player. This means a lot to me and I am glad I got this opportunity. I am happy because I will work with Eduardo and Ježina, great goalkeepers who have a lot of experience. Miralem Ibrahimović will be my coach and it is a great honor for me. I have to say I am really happy to be a part of U19 team also because playing the UEFA Youth league is a great thing. I am looking forward to every new day - said young Adrian after signing the contract.
Adrian came to Dinamo when he was only six years old. He played for every category in the Dinamo Youth academy and he won lots of trophies in domestic and international competitions. Also, he won lots of individual prizes and he is a national team player.
A few days after Adrian signed a contract with Dinamo, the club got an impressive offer from one of the biggest England clubs: - Representatives from Chelsea visited Zagreb in order to present a great offer for transfer of Adrian Šemper. They were really professional and nice guests, but we thank them and reject their offer. Of course it is not easy to refuse an offer like this one from Chelsea, but we want Adrian to stay here and to achieve great things with Dinamo. He is our future, just like other players in this generation, and if he will continue to work he will soon become a very important player for Dinamo - explained head coach Zoran Mamić.
