On this day, May 29, two Dinamo first team players celebrate their birthdays. Argentinean central defender Leonardo Sigali turns 30, while defensive midfielder Arijan Ademi turns 26 today.
Leonardo German Sigali was born on May 29, 1987. He played a big part of his career in his home country. He was briefly in Europe as a part of Villarreal but he spent most of his playing days in Godoy Cruz; a club he has represented more than 200 times. In summer 2014 he signed a 4-year contract with Dinamo, came to Croatia and very soon became an integral part of the team. Leo helped Dinamo win domestic trophies and also played twice in UEFA Champions League group stage.
Arijan Ademi is defensive midfielder born in Šibenik on May 29, 1991. His football career started in youth teams of HNK Šibenik, the club which is his first club in a senior professional career. From 2007 Ademi was a standard member of the first team in Šibenik and youngest captain in team’s history. After 3 seasons in Šibenik, he moved to Dinamo Zagreb where he made his first appearance v NK Rijeka on July 31st, 2010. From 2008 to 2010 he was a member of Croatian National U-19 team as well as Croatian national U-21 team. Due to serious injury in season 2011/12he missed the most of that season and after the successful comeback, he was shortly loaned to NK Lokomotiva. Soon he returned to Dinamo’s first team where he became captain and one of the main players in the team. Unfortunately due to two-year doping ban, he missed two season and will return to the squad this autumn.
