Šikić: There will be great football on Ramljak tournament

A press conference was held today in Maksimir and the topic was 10th Memorial Mladen Ramljak tournament which will be played next week.

10th Memorial Mladen Ramljak tournament will be played from 7. - 10. of June and chairman of the organizational board Božidar Šikić shared all the details: - Since it's the tenth tournament we really tried to make it a special one and I think we've manage to create the strongest tournament yet - said Šikić and continued: - We have excellent eight teams on the tournament and all the games will be really great. Three teams come from Spain: Valencia, Espanyol and Betis, one from Ukraine and Russia: Dynamo Kyiv and Dinamo Moscow, one from Turkey: Bucaspor and two from Croatia: Dinamo and Hajduk.

Dinamo coach Igor Cvitanović believes that Dinamo has a good enough squad to win the tournament: - We have a great team where most of these young players born on 1994. and younger played for our junior team and have a lot of experience. It will be a great chance for them to see how good they really are. Halilović? He is younger but he will be included in the squad and will get his chance. We all know that he is a great talent and it will be a great experience for him.

The teams are combined into two groups and after they play with each other, a team placed fourth in group A will play against team placed fourth in group B; this will be the match for the 7th place. Third and third placed teams will play for the 5th place, two second place teams for the 3rd place and group winners will play in the final on Sunday.
